My healthy pregnancy was a top priority for me after gaining over 50 lbs during my first pregnancy. If you have been here with me from the beginning, then you know that during the 1st trimester of my “skinny pregnancy” series I did not gain any weight. During my second trimester I gained…

6 pounds!!! That’s right. From week 1 to week 24 I gained a total of 6 lbs. I did this by cutting out refined sugar, dairy and other inflammatory or processed foods. I took a lot of tips from my gestational diabetes diet that I learned about during my first pregnancy.

Also, I stayed active by working out using Tracy Anderson’s DVD series called “The Pregnancy Project” (click the affiliate link to purchase if you are interested). Another prenatal workout DVD I used was by Susan Bowen called “BarreAmped: Sleek & Toned Prenatal Workout“.

And guess what? My gender swing method worked again! This time I was trying to conceive a girl and I am having a girl! Also, my best friend was trying to get pregnant with a boy at the same time and I taught her the method for conceiving a boy. She is having a boy! This method really works. I will be sharing it soon with you all.

During this pregnancy I felt happy and at peace. A stress-free pregnancy is the best. Until next time!
