After scrolling social media, I noticed that there were a lot of people fired up about the mothers of little girls who drank from their Stanley cups while shopping for Drunk Elephant at Sephora. At first, I thought the heat was all a joke. With all of the disturbing things going on in the world, a 9 year-old with a pink Stanley cup in the mall couldn’t be this upsetting. However, there were many social media creators and commenters criticizing the parenting choices of middle class millennial parents.

It didn’t stop there. David Ramsey, a popular financial advisor called a distressed parent “dumber than crap” for having trouble with making ends meet due to the extreme cost of daycare for their two young children. In a recent mom chat episode, I discuss these topics and I would love for you to join in on the conversation. Check out the episode on Youtube.
