What an unpredictable and crazy moment this was! The birth of my 4th child was one for the books! I took the midwife’s brew to induce my labor, just like I have done for my previous children, but this time was different. I was 6 minutes away from the hospital when I asked my husband to stop the car in the middle of the street, because the baby’s head was already out!
I would like to think of myself as a calm person. I recognize that calmness in the midst of chaos leads to better decisions. I truly try to live by that. Well, this was the ultimate test! There I was, parked in front of a red light with the baby’s head out and cars honking for us to go.
I plan to record a reaction video to my car birth because there is still so much to say and explain. This will always go down as one of the most exciting and unexpected moments of my life.
